  • You will need to obtain a Minecraft: Education Edition account through your school.
  • If your school does not have access to Minecraft: Educaton Edition, you may choose to use Minecraft Java Edition (purchase required).

Module 2: Narrative Arcs

Learn to create a story based player experience and apply components of a narrative arc to enhance your story.

Module 3: Building Your Story Setting

Use your creativity to create and build a setting for your story. Learn to use fill commands to build more complex structures in your world.

Module 4: World Management

Explore how to join and host worlds. Learn to teleport characters and change permissions.

Module 5: Story Elements in Minecraft

Discover how to add story world templates and story elements to your world like structures and objects.

Module  6: Adding NPCs/Narrators/Dialogue

Learn to add non-playable characters (NPCs) to your story and learn to use NPCs to perform tasks.

Module 7: Using Redstone

Explore how to use redstone and create a more interactive story using redstone blocks.

Module 8: Playtesting & Peer Feedback

Have your peers test your story to give you feedback on how to improve it!

Module  9: Final Submission

Use the feedback from your peers to polish and perfect your story before your final submission.

Module 10: Course Wrap Up

Reflect on your learning throughout the course and show what you know!
