Your support means the world

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Hello families,

We hope that you and your families are keeping yourselves safe and calm during these chaotic times.

STEM Minds and EdTech Hive have always been committed to being a community-focused business where the safety of you, your children and our staff are of the utmost importance. We have prided ourselves on always doing the right thing; even when it is hard, even when it is not profitable. These past few days, those values have truly been put to the test.

On March 13th, local health authorities urged all businesses to encourage social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19. We made the difficult but, we feel, ethical decision to abide by these requests by cancelling our nearly sold out March Break Camps on Friday afternoon.

This was a very tough decision, one which we do not take lightly. One of our favourite times of year is March Break Camp, where we get to work with so many amazing students, help inspire them, and help families feel good knowing that their kids are getting a great experience over the break.

However, given the risks and our inability to maintain an environment that appropriately accommodates social distancing, we had to make the difficult choice to shut our doors for next three weeks.

We know this has put many of you in a tough spot, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We know this is a time of great upheaval and this can feel like just one more thing added to the pile.

This is a new and challenging frontier for us as a business and as a team (one that often feels more like a family). We know it may be one of the most challenging phases of your own lives as well.

That is why we have so deeply appreciated the support and care many of you have taken the time to send our way, even though all of you are going through a lot as well. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

We continue to monitor the situation and advice from government and health agencies and will be providing further direction and updates as they become available to us.

We truly believe that we will all pass though this phase over the next few weeks and will come out of it as more resilient communities who care about each other and will support each other with empathy and kindness.

While our in person programs are not available, we are working hard to provide options to you to keep your kids engaged and learning during these challenging times. More information will be shared in the coming days.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please send us your queries at info@stemminds.com and info@edtechhive.com. We are committed to remaining responsive and helpful even while our facilities are closed.

We can’t wait to work with you all again. Until then, we wish you all the best.

Still fearlessly (and also gratefully) yours,

Anu Bidani, Founder & CEO
